I was in need of a girls weekend away. Since not having all my best friends in the same state its hard to get away for the night. When Ally invited me to the Gaylord with her and a few other bloggers, I was so excited. I just knew this is what I needed. Ally, Tiffaney, Madison, and I all got together at the Gaylord and had a fantastic night away from the hubbys. I shared a room with Ally and we had the cutest room. The room we stayed in was more like a suite versus just a hotel room. It had a little kitchenette (nothing crazy), a living room and then a separate room for the bedroom. The bathroom had wonderful lighting (perfect for doing makeup and hair). I loved how spacious the rooms are, especially if you were to go there with a family of 4!

There were so many kids staying there the weekend that we went. It was spring break time so it would be perfect to take your little ones. They have an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool. There were water slides that all of the kids were going down the entire time we were there. It was not quite warm enough to use the outside pool, so everyone played and swam in the indoor pool.

I loved the fact that the hotel had a few different options to eat. We ate dinner at the Asian restaurant and it did not disappoint. They also have an Italian, steak house, and american restaurants. One of their restaurants has the largest flat screen TV in all of Colorado. It would be perfect to watch a baseball, football, or basketball game! The next morning we had a brunch buffet at the Italian restaurant, Vista Montagne. I am not usually a huge buffet person, but this one was good! I tried a few different things but mainly had french toast and a lot of fruit. There is a full menu for brunch as well. If you are not a buffet person then you have other options.

I had such a blast at the Gaylord and if you are planning a trip to Denver, it would be a great place to stay. Or looking for a little staycation for the summer? The Gaylord is the best place to start looking because they have everything for kids and a family.
